ABSTRACT:
This paper throws light on the attitude of city residents towards cosmetics and also association_ ot their personal characteristics with degree of their attitude. It is based on the study conducted· with 100 residents of Udaipur city of Rajasthan selected at random. A pretested quesitonnaire was used for data collection. Results show that majority of Udaipur city dwellers had medium level of attitude towards conmetics It was observed that age and education of respondents had a significant. association with their attitude and use of conrnetics.
