ABSTRACT:
The present study deals with the somatoscopic observation on hair colour and hair form of scalp region among the Jaunsari Rajput of Dehradun district in Ut1ar Pradesh. The observation in the present study accounts a higher frequency of dark coloured hair in adult, and dark and brown coloured hair in children than any other types of colour. The hair form of the Jaunsari Rajput when compared with other racial groups indicates it5 similarity with mongoloid type of hair. A non-significant association between the sex and form of hair has also been observed.
