ABSTRACT:
The paper deals with the analysis of reliability characteristics · for an n-unit series, parallel and standby system models. The lifetime of each unit is taken independent from the others and· assumed to follow discrete density with geometric disribution. Some characteristics of interest are also studied graphically and important conclusions reqarding the parameters of system models have been drawn to achieve specified reliability/failure rate of the system.
