ABSTRACT:
Bilateral finger prints were collected from 433 Rawats (232 males and 201 females) and 442 Telis (251 males and 191 females) from various villages of Raipur and Bilaspur districts of Chhattisgarh (M.P.). Both the groups are characterized by a frequency of loops except in Rawat males. Mean partem intensity index. and TFRC show a higher value among Rawats as compared to Telis. Intergroup differences show statistically insignificant difference with regard to finger pattern types and total finger ridge count.
