ABSTRACT:
In this paper, a generalized linear type estimator, for population mean, has been proposed. Under certain conditions, the proposed estimator is more efficient than generalized estimators proposed by Srivastava and Jhajj ( 1981 ), Bi radar and Singh (1998) and Dubey and Singh (2001 ). Results are supported by numerical illustration.
