ABSTRACT:
Results of rise and decay of photoconductlvltyfor different (Cd-Zn) S films are persented. From the analysis of decay curves trap depths, life time and mobility are evaluated. Both life time and mobility improve in presence of impurities which may be a cause for high photo current (lpc/ ldc-106) observed in such materials. From absorption spectral studies band gaps are determined which show direct band gap nature. The values of band gap decrease due to presence of impurities.
