ABSTRACT:
The immune system is gradually found to be involved in the development of numerous chronic illnesses, for which allopathic medicine has provided limited tools for treatment and prevention. Several medicinal plants have immunomodulator properties due to the presence of diverse complex chemical substance of different composition, which are found as secondary plant metabolites in one or more parts of these plants. The present study relates to nutritional compositions of multi-herbal extracts useful as immune-supporting agents. Present invention of multi-herbal tablet triturates were developed by using well documented medicinal plants like Tinospora cordifolia, Azadirachta indica, Moringa oleifera, Ocimum sanctum and Allium sativum. The present paper deals with formulation and evaluation (weight variation, friability, hardness, disintegration time and dissolution Test) of multi-herbal tablets triturates prepared from selected plant and dry plant extract containing Moringa oleifera Gum as a binder.
