ABSTRACT:
A critical review of observations on the taxonomic position of foraminifer genus Rosalina D'Orbigny, 1826, is presented. The view of retaining Rosalina as a distinct genus of the family Rosalinidae Reiss belonging to the super family Discorbacea Ehrenberg is considered to be valid.
