Abstract: In
this paper the effects of mass transfer on unsteady free convection flow of an incompressible elec1ricaly
conducting viscous liquid through
a porous medium having variable suction
bounded by a ver1ical infinite plate has been discussed. The expressions for the velocity,
temperature and mass concentration field have been obtained in two cases.
The flow phonomena have been
characterized by different non-dimensional
parameters P, Gr, Gm, M.K. Sc
and W. The effects of Sc on velocity profile have been shown graphically for different times.
The effects of other parameters have also been discussed quantitatively on velocity
and temperature field.
