Abstract:
the aim of present paper is to obtain common fixed points as invariant
approximation for a generalized class of contractive noncommutative mappings
(not necessarily linear) in a q-normed space. As a consequence, our results
generalize the results of Mukherjee and Som (1985) and Nashine (2005). To
achieve our goal we use Property(G) introduced in (2004). 2000
mathematics subject classification: 41A50, 47H10.
Keywords and Phrases:
best approximate; common fixed points; contractor was jointly continuous
family; star-shaped subset; q-normed space.
