Abstract : This paper
analyses a Personal Computer System
in
which
uninterrupted power
supply is taken as a protective
unit. Monitor
and Central processing unit
are taken as slave units.
Taking failure rates as exponential
and arbitrary repair rates,
various economic related measures such as mean time to system failure,
pointwise
availability,
busy
period
of
the repairman and expected profit are evaluated. In the end the important results are highlighted with the help of graphs.
