Abstract: The paper
analyzes a complex system having three types of subsystems subject to shut-off
rules. Two unit series systems subject
to shut-off rules have been studied so far.
For increasing the availability a new model is. considered. This model
is composed of one main system and t\l\O secondary subsystems S and C. The operation of main and subsystem S are essential for the operation
of the subsystem C. If both j units
of sub-system S
fail then it
shuts-off the sub-system
C. Using regeneration point
technique several system parmeters are evaluated. At last some graphs are also
plotted to highlight the important results.
