Abstract. Enhancement effect in double band emitting
ZnO:Cu,M(H) eleotroluminophors, under the
concurrent excitation of a.c. field and UV- radiation (3650 A°) has been investigated.
The emissions in green and yellow regions were found to show
enhancement at low frequencies (in 1he voltage range of 200-700 volts)
of excitation field. While at high frequencies the quenching was observed. The maximum
enhancement ratio was found to be always less than 1.33. The enhancement effect is found significant for
yellow emission of electroluminophor with increasing excitation voltage of field
and manganese concentration in presence of constant UV- radiation.
Key words: Electroluminescence, ZnO electroluminophors.
