Abstract. The properties of partially Pb (II)- exchanged zeolite Stilbite and its carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide and ammonia adsorbed derivatives have been investigated by IR spectroscopic, thermogravimetric and X-ray diffraction methods. Analytical data reported show the extent of exchange. Thermal stability and structural changes of the derivatives have been discussed. Cell parameters have been evaluated from XRD data.

Keywords: natural zeolite stilbite, IR spectroscopic, thermogravimetric, X-ray diffraction methods.
