Circannual modulation of circadian mesor of circulating eosinophil in an ophid

Abstract. The possibility of intermodulation of eosinophil circadian rhythm by circannual changes in an ophid was examined. Six groups of healthy male ophids, lour each, were standardized in LD 12:12 photoperiod and ·constant temperature.    Every month blood samples were·taken·from individual animals through cardiac puncture at 4-h intervals over a single transverse time  scale and circadian cycles in circulating number of eosinophils constructed.   Circannual modulation of circadian mesor and amplitude was demonstrated.
